All About the SSI Specialty Certification: Sea Turtle Ecology

Before you immerse yourself in the world of sea turtles, there are some important things to know:

  • Age: The course is open to participants aged 10 and above.
  • Duration: The total duration of the course is approximately 2.5 hours, including a dive, plus time spent on self-study.
  • Minimum Prerequisites: To participate, you must have at least an SSI Open Water Diver or PADI Open Water Diver certification.
  • Maximum Training Depth: The maximum depth depends on your dive certification: 18 meters for Open Water Divers and 30 meters for Advanced Divers.
  • Medical Statement: A fully completed medical statement and good health are required for ecology programs that include a dive.
  • Cancellation Policy: It is essential to carefully review our cancellation policy before booking.
  • Course Materials: It is important to note that the course materials for this program are available exclusively in English.
