SSI Diamond Dive Resort status recognizes SSI Dive Resorts that strive for excellence and leadership in business operations.
SSI Diamond Dive Resort status is a privilege.
Dive Centers and Dive Resorts with this status are regularly audited to ensure they continue to meet or exceed standards.
A Dive Resort may qualify for this status if it meets or exceeds all of the requirements for an SSI Dive Resort and meets the following additional requirements:
✔️ All employees providing training must be qualified SSI Professionals with active status.
✔️ The company may only offer SSI training programs and certifications from entry-level to dive professional.
This does not apply to programs for which SSI does not offer an equivalent program.
✔️ The company operates the SSI Equipment Service Program for all instructor, rental, employee, and sales equipment.
✔️ The company organizes or participates in at least one environment-related activity/cleaning campaign per year.
