The SSI Wreck Diving Specialty program is designed to provide divers with the necessary skills and knowledge for safe and responsible wreck diving.
The SSI Wreck Diving Specialty program combines theoretical lessons with practical water exercises to fully prepare divers for the adventure of wreck diving. During the course, you will learn how to safely plan and execute dives around wrecks and artificial reefs.
Age Requirements and Duration
The SSI Wreck Diving Specialty is accessible to everyone from the age of 10. The course is designed to be completed within one day, with participants performing two dives.
Prerequisites
If you are interested in the SSI Wreck Diving Specialty, it is necessary that you have at least an SSI Open Water Diver or PADI Open Water Diver certification.
Dive Locations
The course is offered at two beautiful locations: Marie Pampoen and Tugboat. Both locations offer ideal conditions for wreck diving and will undoubtedly enrich your diving experience.
Training Depth
Depending on your certification level, the maximum training depth maintained during the course varies. For Open Water Divers, the maximum depth is 18 meters, while Advanced Divers may dive up to 30 meters. This ensures that the course remains safe for all participants, regardless of their experience level.
Medical Statement
A fully completed medical statement is required for everyone participating in the SSI Wreck Diving Specialty.
