Information about the SSI Assistant Instructor Course

Age and Prerequisite Requirements

Age: The course is open to participants aged 18 and older.
Minimum Prerequisites: Candidates must hold a Stress & Rescue Diver certification with active status for BLS (Basic Life Support) and O2 (Oxygen Administration). Additionally, a valid, full React Right certification, or a valid DAN Basic Life Support Provider certification (First Aid), is required.

Number of Logged Dives

Before you can begin the SSI Assistant Instructor Course, you must have logged a minimum of 80 dives.

Medical Statement

A medical statement must be fully completed before you can participate in the course.
